“First off…I could absolutely not be happier with the way my car turned out. I put a huge load on josh with a list of bolt on parts installation, porting, and tuning! But the execution and attention to EVERY SINGLE DETAIL was so spot on! I think we were both decently surprised by the results. I won’t go into detail about the full build but let’s just say my 06 SS is tastefully modded now. The time it takes him to do things and his all around knowledge and constant communication is unmatched. “Huge shoutout to Category V Port Worx! I’ve had him port my blower in the past but never actually work on the car. I don’t tend to trust many others but with my workload my initial go to guy was busy.
Knowing his work on my supercharger and his knowledge of the Ecotec I made the 2.5hr drive to have him work on my timing chains. I can’t speak more highly of his work and how thorough he was!
My fear is these engines aren’t something you can get down the street for $300. I tend to work on all my own stuff usually but I couldn’t be happier having Josh do this job. With no lift, no time, and little ambition Josh took care of me!
If you are ever hesitant on choosing someone to work on yours I couldn’t suggest anyone other than Cat V!!!
